Hey guys thanks for stopping by.  Just a little about me.  I am a big time family man.  I have two awesome kids.  My son serves with the 82nd Airborne and is deployed right now in Afghanistan.  Did I mention he got married this summer.  I’m really proud of him, but I’m really tired of war.  I’m praying for peace on earth.  My daughter and I are just alike only she’s a good looking version. My wife really is the best person I’ve ever met.   I love hanging out with my friends.  I would rather you drop by than make plans.  I’m somewhat of an introvert.  My favorite moments are  hanging out on my deck thinking about life.  My friends think I’m weird because I like to write more than watch football.  I love riding my motorcycle in the North Georgia Mountains.  I have three in my garage; a 2002 Harley Deuce, a 2006 Honda VTX 1300, and a Suzuki SV 1000.  They are all black and  I can be in the mountains within 30 minutes.  I am a pastor at Mountain Lake Church in Cumming, GA (northern Atlanta).  I have a church planting organization called churchplanters.com where we coach church planters.  I’ve been a church planter all of my ministry. I am passionate about putting wells in Africa and Bibles in Iran.  God is up to so much I don’t know what to do with myself most days.  My mission is to rediscover the simplicity of Jesus and his ways.  Most of my life and writings reflect this.  My next book Detox…for the overly religious will be out January 1, 2010.  I’m not sure what I’m writing next, but I have several thoughts.
